Wind claims are typically a little more straight forward because of the type of damage involved. The damage is usually more photogenic and easier for the insurance company to “see” from their offices hundreds or even thousands of miles away from where the storm occurred. Missing and creased shingles are usually a “no brainer”. Of course, this doesn’t mean that’s the kind of “adjustment” you’ll get from your insurance company.
Hail claims are usually a little more tricky if they are older. The reason is simple- Everyone is a hail expert EXCEPT your roofer or Public Adjuster. Yep, that’s as complicated as it get unless you have 2-4″ hail. Does that mean that you don’t have damage? Absolutely not, and that’s why we’re here for you when you need us.
